The Selway Collections
This project was focused on our innate desire to collect and keep materialistic items. I explore this topic through imagery, object experimentation, found articles and journals as well as my own writings and interviews.
I based the project around my granny’s large collection of buttons, and her collection of Letraset, finding a way for them both to represent the sentimentality of our belongings and why we consider them to be so valuable.
The catalogue; a record of each sheet of Letraset documented using the letter ‘O’ to mirror the reverse of the book, documenting the buttons.
